Looks like 140kg? 60kg each side = 120kg + 20kg bar = 140kg. Or 308.6 pounds. 140kg close stance @ 11+ reps. Close stance or narrow stance hits the outer quads more. Or the outer thigh - giving it that nice sweep from the front when hitting the front double bicep pose. Remember he was a tall bodybuilder at 6'2 or 183cm. Thanks for not adding stupid music. I do something similar. I do 12-10-8-20 reps on certain body parts. I do this for smaller muscles and legs. Then the bigger ones is the original way.

one key difference in oldschool squat is the hips which are pushed forwards straight. many don't do this today, that's why they look like ducks then.

The lacto-ovo vegetarian diet works for fat loss because the veggies have so few calories and take longer to move through the digestive system. Therefore, it's easy to eat below maintenance calories to lose fat. Nothing special beyond calories in versus calories out for that bit.

Diet? Thats the most crucial part. I believed if you did reverse grip pull ups you'll get amazing arms, especially biceps, then saw a guy did weighted reverse grip pullups with defined small arms. Diet decides the size. Not exercise. These celebrities share details of sets and reps on exercises, never share frequency of eating, calories, carbs to protein ratio. Ever!

The bodybuilders of today don’t have the aesthetic physiques of yesteryear that radiated beauty and magnetism. That’s all I have to say.

Finally I found some footage in that office! I was in that exact office in July 2015 when the Weider building still had the Lion starues on either side of the entrance doors and the building was up for sale. The building is on a corner lot in Woodland Hills California and I contacted the realtor as though I was interested in purchasing the building and the realtor came out to the property and gave me a tour of the building. It was the summer of 2015 and Joe's office was still intact same floor, same blinds same everything! The bathroom had the 70's wallpaper in it and original everything. I worked for a company on the same side of the street just four doors down. Eventually the lions at the entrance were removed and anything Weider related was removed. The realtor at one point even mentioned Betty by name. It was incredible being in the building and Joe's office with all of the history that took place there. I don't work for the company anymore but I often wonder what happened to the building.

Body building is simply about becoming better, inside to outside. A positive goal and mental focus along with dedication help you be a better you, because you learn who you are by simply losing what you dislike outside, which has an impact on your mind and heart. Depending on the individual it can make you happy with yourself, confident and knowledgeable about good health. The benefits can be countless.

Of course Schwarzenegger didn’t like Vince; Schwarzenegger couldn’t work any BS with Vince, a hardened NYer who only knew how to keep it real. In addition, Vince had a strict way of running the gym and it worked, but could be too much at times; golds was less structured and Schwarzenegger was the king just the way he wanted it.
